Artist's Statement...
Ramblings of an Artist
Some people call me a dreamer as I can spend hours just looking at the sky, watching the clouds move in and out, or sitting in awe as the morning sky flashes brief bursts of color into the air. Nature brings the same lure to my senses, whether it be a rushing creek or magnificent waterfall, being in nature stirs a passion in my soul which I strive to transfer into my artwork.
I love working in the buttery soft texture of oil paints. The organic composition of the paint seems to lend itself in a romantic dance with my brushes as they cascade across my canvas bringing light and life to my subject matter. At least for me, this is my hope.

It is also with my most humble gratitude to acknowledge my painting Stormy Night was purchased by the City of Orland to be hung in their private collection.
