The question I often get asked is to share my progress. Since I am not a technical person video taping isn’t an option. But I have documented my travels through a painting. I always start out fast and furious, and then as the painting tightens up, it’s more of a crawl. I try to work the overall painting in one sitting and then save the details for the end. Sometimes as in this example I thought I was done, but after a day of letting it sit, I saw it needed tweaking. I always say the artist is the one in control and that control means taking liberties. If something isn’t working, change it . It’s only paint!
